What Does BIPOC Mean?
BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The term is commonly used when discussing experiences that may be affected by racism, discrimination, cultural marginalization, unequal access to services, immigration experiences, and the pressure of navigating environments where your racial or cultural background is not part of the majority.
